An added patient care facility in CECC is the well-stocked in-house pharmacy where all common eye-related medicines prescribed in the hospital are available. CECC pharmacy has a stock of medicines from all major brands and molecules for the treatment of almost any ophthalmic disease/problem.

An important area of overall patient management is the provision of advice to both patients and other health professionals about the safe and effective use of medicines. It is important to ensure that the right patient, dose, route of administration, time, drug information and documentation are respected when any medication is used. CECC pharmacists play a vital role in helping our patients to understand their medications and how to take them for optimal effect.
